How We Use Cookies Here
Cookie notices tend to be long because the sites behind them run a long list of tools. This one is short, because Riverview Studios Tech runs almost none. Here is everything the site stores in your browser and how to remove it.
Two small storage tricks browsers use
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to keep, often so the site can recognise you later. Local storage is a similar feature: a small storage area in your browser that a site can write to and read back. Both live on your device, and both can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
What this site stores
| Item | Type | Purpose | How long it stays |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your banner answer | Local storage entry | Remembers whether you accepted or declined, so the card does not return on every page | Until you clear this site's data in your browser |
That is the complete list. The entry contains only your answer. It holds no name, email or identifier, and it is never sent to us or to anyone else.
What we do not use
- No tools that count or chart visitors.
- No advertising cookies or retargeting.
- No share buttons pulling scripts from social networks.
- No embedded players or widgets that place their own cookies.
Because nothing optional runs, choosing "decline" does not switch off any feature. The site works the same either way; the choice is simply recorded so we stop asking.
Changing or clearing your answer
To see the card again, clear the stored data for this website. In most browsers, that option sits under privacy or site settings, often reached by clicking the padlock or info icon beside the address bar. Choosing to clear cookies and site data for this address removes the entry, and the card will reappear on your next page view.
Private or incognito windows usually discard local storage when they close, so you may see the card each time you browse that way.
Other websites
Leave this site through a link in an article and the destination may set cookies of its own. Its cookie notice and privacy information describe what it does; our choices do not carry over.
