Get a Message to Us

Riverview Studios Tech is run by a small team, and every message lands in one shared inbox that we read ourselves. There is no call centre, no ticket number and no chatbot standing between you and the people who wrote the article.

The address is letters@riverview-studios.com. The form on this page opens your own email app with the address filled in, so nothing is sent through the website itself.

Messages we especially value

  • Steps that no longer match the screen. Apps and TVs move their menus around. If a setting has been renamed or a button has disappeared, tell us which article and which device you were using.
  • Mistakes. A wrong term, a broken explanation or a sentence that says the opposite of what it meant. We would rather hear about it than leave it in place.
  • Questions that deserve an explainer. Many of our articles began as a reader asking how something works. Pieces such as what Mbps really measures came straight from that kind of note.
  • Partnership and publishing questions. If you represent a business and want to discuss an article, describe the topic and what readers would learn from it.

Help us help you

A few details make a reply quicker and more useful:

  1. The address or title of the article you are writing about.
  2. The device, app or operating system involved, including the version if you know it.
  3. What you expected to see and what actually happened.
  4. For corrections, a link to an official source if one exists.

What we cannot do

We are writers, not a support desk for any manufacturer or service. We cannot fix individual accounts, process refunds, unlock devices or troubleshoot a specific subscription with its provider. For those, the official support channel of the company involved is the right place. We also cannot give personal financial, legal or property advice; the articles in those areas are general background only.

Reply times

We answer as many messages as we can, usually within a week or two. Corrections tend to be handled first, because a wrong step affects everyone who reads the page. Not every topic suggestion becomes an article, but every one is read and kept on our list.

Your message and your privacy

We use your email only to reply and, where relevant, to fix the article you mention. It is not added to any list or shared with anyone. The details are on Privacy at Riverview.

Want to know who will read your message? The team is introduced on The People Behind the Screens.

This opens your email app with the message ready to send to letters@riverview-studios.com. Nothing is stored on this site.

Handy to include

Four details that save a round of emails

A few details turn a long back-and-forth into a single reply.

  • Which article you are writing about, by title or web address.
  • The device, app or system involved, with its version if you know it.
  • What you expected and what actually appeared on screen.
  • An official source, if you are pointing out a correction.

One honest limit

We explain things; we cannot fix accounts

Our inbox is read by the writers themselves, so we cannot reset a subscription, unlock a device or chase a refund with a provider. The official support team of the company involved is the right place for those.

Questions about how something works, corrections and ideas for new explainers are always welcome.
